End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement governs your use of the Porcupin IPFS pinning service platform. By using our service, you agree to these licensing terms.
1. License Grant
This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("User" or "you") and FAFO Lab ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") for the use of Porcupin, an IPFS pinning service platform ("Software" or "Service").
By accessing or using Porcupin, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this EULA. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service.
2. Permitted Uses
2.1 Service License
Subject to your compliance with this EULA and our Terms of Service, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Access and use the Porcupin web platform for IPFS pinning services
- Upload and pin your own digital content to IPFS networks
- Pin existing IPFS content by hash that you have legitimate rights to access
- Use automated Tezos wallet monitoring features (when available)
- Access your account dashboard and service management tools
2.2 Personal and Commercial Use
You may use Porcupin for both personal and commercial purposes, provided such use complies with:
- All applicable laws and regulations
- These EULA terms and our Terms of Service
- Intellectual property rights of third parties
- Your subscription plan limits and restrictions
2.3 Content Pinning Rights
You represent and warrant that for all content you pin through our Service:
- You own the content or have explicit permission to pin it
- Your use does not violate any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
- The content is not illegal, harmful, or in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy
- You have the right to make the content publicly accessible via IPFS networks
3. Restrictions
3.1 Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Use automated tools to abuse the Service or exceed rate limits
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any access controls or usage restrictions
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
- Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
3.2 Content Restrictions
You may not use our Service to pin:
- Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Illegal content under US federal or California state law
- Content intended to harass, threaten, or harm others
- Copyrighted material without proper authorization
- Content that violates third-party terms of service or privacy rights
- Malicious software, exploits, or security vulnerabilities
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 Porcupin Platform Rights
All rights, title, and interest in the Porcupin platform, including but not limited to:
- Software code, algorithms, and technical implementations
- User interface designs, graphics, and branding elements
- Documentation, content, and marketing materials
- Trademarks, service marks, and trade names
remain the exclusive property of FAFO Lab and its licensors.
4.2 User Content Rights
You retain all rights to content you upload or pin through our Service. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to:
- Process and pin your content to IPFS networks
- Store metadata necessary for service operation
- Display content information in your account dashboard
- Perform technical operations required for service delivery
This license terminates when you remove content from our Service or close your account.
5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
5.1 Warranty Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
5.2 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING ANY CLAIM.
